The Sketchra Effect

The drawing gets better.
So does the kid.

Every session they see the world they could have drawn. So next time — they draw it.

Session one

One character.
Lots of blank space.

They draw what they know. The paper is mostly empty. 'I'm done,' they say — and that's perfectly fine.

The reveal

We fill in the world
they left out.

The cave their dragon belongs in. The sky above their castle. They see the finished scene and think: I could have drawn that.

Three weeks later

They fill
the whole page.

The background. The details. A whole scene — built by them. The same kid who drew one floating character is now thinking like an artist.

We don't teach drawing. We show them what's possible — and they figure out the rest.

Time together that sticks

Creativity encouraged, not replaced

Watch them improve

Your family's art vault

Nurturing the magic of childhood.

That gap — between what they see in their head and what lands on paper — is where Sketchra lives. Upload the drawing, and watch their version of it come to life. Not your version. Theirs.

That's the memory you're making.

How the Magic Happens

1. Draw Together

Kids draw with complete conviction. “The monster has three eyes because one is sleeping. The castle floats because it's magic.” Let it happen on paper.

2. Snap & Upload

Take a quick photo and upload it. The imagination is vivid and specific — the drawing just can't always keep up. That's our job.

3. Watch It Come to Life

When they see their scribble in a whole new way, something shifts. They draw more. They come back the next day with another one.

Who is this for?

For any parent or grandparent who's ever tried to ask their kid "how was your day?" and got nothing. Sit down with a crayon and paper and try again. Drawing opens kids up in a way that direct questions never do. That's the moment Sketchra is made for.

How does it work?

Take a photo of your child's drawing, upload it, describe what they've drawn in a few words, pick a style, and within about a minute you'll see it transformed into a finished piece of art. Your child's original drawing is always the starting point. We just bring their version of it to life.

Does my child need to be a good artist?

They already are one. When it comes to having fun there's no good or bad. Just drawing, learning, and getting a little better every time. That's all any artist does.

Is this AI?

Yes, we use AI to enhance and bring drawings to life. The goal isn't to replace your child's drawing, it's to add a little magic to it. Your child's original is always the heart of the image.

Can I save or print the images?

Yes, every creation can be downloaded directly from your gallery. Print it at home, frame it, use it however you like.

How many creations do I get?

You start with 5 free creations when you sign up, no credit card needed. After that you can buy more as a one-off, or subscribe to the Family plan for 120 creations a month.

Can this become a weekly ritual?

Pick a night and make it yours. Your child will start reminding you before you remember. Something happens when you're both focused on a drawing together: the room gets quieter, the pressure comes off, and you end up talking about things that wouldn't come up otherwise. It's one of the easiest ways to just be together. That kind of ritual builds something neither of you will forget. One day, they'll be the one saying "remember when we used to do this?"

Why is this worth making time for?

Time with your child is the one thing you genuinely can't get more of. The window when they want to sit beside you and make something together, when you're still the most creative person they know, is smaller than it feels right now. We don't give you more time. We just make it easier to say yes to the time you have, and a little more exciting when you do.
