For any parent or grandparent who's ever tried to ask their kid "how was your day?" and got nothing. Sit down with a crayon and paper and try again. Drawing opens kids up in a way that direct questions never do. That's the moment Sketchra is made for.
How does it work?
Take a photo of your child's drawing, upload it, describe what they've drawn in a few words, pick a style, and within about a minute you'll see it transformed into a finished piece of art. Your child's original drawing is always the starting point. We just bring their version of it to life.
Does my child need to be a good artist?
They already are one. When it comes to having fun there's no good or bad. Just drawing, learning, and getting a little better every time. That's all any artist does.
Is this AI?
Yes, we use AI to enhance and bring drawings to life. The goal isn't to replace your child's drawing, it's to add a little magic to it. Your child's original is always the heart of the image.
Can I save or print the images?
Yes, every creation can be downloaded directly from your gallery. Print it at home, frame it, use it however you like.
How many creations do I get?
You start with 5 free creations when you sign up, no credit card needed. After that you can buy more as a one-off, or subscribe to the Family plan for 120 creations a month.
Can this become a weekly ritual?
Pick a night and make it yours. Your child will start reminding you before you remember. Something happens when you're both focused on a drawing together: the room gets quieter, the pressure comes off, and you end up talking about things that wouldn't come up otherwise.
