Our Story

Every drawing begins with a yes.

Sketchra was built by someone who grew up wishing there had been more of those moments. More yes. More time. More afternoons that didn't get swallowed by something else.

You know the ones.

A kid grabbing whatever is nearby — a crayon, a marker, the back of a receipt — and just starting. No hesitation. No self-consciousness. Just making something real out of nothing. And a parent, half-present, who didn't always stop to join in.

Those moments look ordinary from the inside. You don't realise you're saying no to the last one.

“Mom, Dad — can we draw?”

This was built for everyone who has heard that question — and for the ones who wish they'd answered differently. And for the parents who still have time to get it right.

Every “no” for you
is a memory for them.

Kids don't keep a score. They don't hold the no's against you. They just stop asking eventually, and you won't notice the exact moment that happens.

Sketchra exists because of that.

Not to replace those moments — nothing does that — but to be a reason to have them. To give you and your child something to be genuinely excited about together. To turn “Mom, Dad — can we draw?” into a whole thing. Something you both look forward to.

Your child draws something wild and wonderful and messy. You hold it up together and watch it transform. You both lose your minds a little at what comes back. You save it. You laugh. You do it again.

That's the whole idea.

Not the AI. Not the technology. The yes.

The next time they ask — and they will ask — we want it to be easy to say yes. We want that moment to feel like something worth stopping for. Because it is.

We built Sketchra to keep you both excited to spend time together — to learn, to play, to grow. To make the drawing moments the ones you both remember.

Built with love, by someone who knows what it's like to wish for more of those moments.

Go draw something with your kid today.
